Our horses are fine companions
to spend long-hours with,

Whether you are a complete novice riding for the first time or an experienced rider looking for a spirited gallop in open country we have the right horse for you - and the right horse may very well be the same horse. We pride ourselves on our horses’ flexible minds and calm temperaments.

Gregorio Morales, chief handler and in-house farrier, deserves a great deal of credit for shaping the behavior of our horses with his gentle and consistent interaction. We firmly believe in letting our horses be horses when they are not working and while they are stabled at night (this is to control who eats how much) they spend their days in paddocks with others. None of our horses bite, buck or rear and all cheerfully walk out on the trail. We all feel it is very important that they enjoy their work.

Our geldings are all wonderful guys - they love the trails at any speed and several that regularly compete in endurance rides are also our steadiest & calmest horses.

The mares – like most women – set the pace for our herd. They like to go - but that can mean hours of marching up and down hills as well as getting down to fast-paced business on a 50-mile endurance competition. These girls are a lot of fun for experienced riders with soft hands.

Our two stallions are among our most affectionate horses. They are gentle and courteous with humans, always enjoying a nice scratch behind the ear. Both are lovely riding horses with comfortable gaits & relaxed attitudes.

Our miniature horses are working horses too! They carry small children and picnics on their strong little backs, and Velvet our black mare was a prizewinning driving horse when she lived in Texas. We are currently developing an equine therapy program for small children with developmental challenges.
